Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Secretary Social Welfare, Women Development, Zakat & Ushr FATA and the coordinator women empowerment unit FATA the Female Monitor will manage & monitor the implementation of CEDAW, and other & national & international commitments of the government of Pakistan.
The Monitor will coordinate with the focal persons of all the relevant departments of FATA to ensure the possible implementations of CEDAW, and other national & international commitments of the government of Pakistan.
The monitor will ensure the prudent use of the resources and will generate/share financial and physical progress reports with all the concerned.
1. Ensures support in administration and implementation strategies of the Social Welfare, Women Development Zakat & Ushr Department FATA, adapts processes and procedures
2. Provides relevant effective programme support to the Secretary Social Welfare, Women Development Zakat & Ushr Department FATA and Coordinator women empowerment unit FATA
3. Provides relevant administrative support to the Social Welfare, Women Development Zakat & Ushr Department FATA and Coordinator women empowerment unit FATA
4. Provides relevant support in creation of strategic partnerships and implementation of
the resource mobilization strategy
5. Development of monitoring indicators and other RBM tools and instruments for Gender sensitive monitoring of all development activities being undertaken in FATA, particularly projects under the Women Empowerment Unit.
6. Conducting and coordinating monitoring activities in the FATA region, ensuring that women’s voices are captured.
7. Ensures facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing in the CO focusing on achievement of the following results:
q Organization of trainings
q Synthesis of lessons learnt and best practices in Programme.
q Sound contributions to knowledge networks and communities of practice.
q Development of concept notes, papers and other knowledge management material for the Unit.

q Responsible to keep official documents / correspondence confidential and safe at all time;
q Share official information with partners and related stakeholders with approval of supervisor and Secretary Social Welfare, Women Development Zakat & Ushr Department FATA
q Ensure adherence to confidentiality protocols pertaining the programmes, projects, initiatives etc of the Social Welfare, Women Development Zakat & Ushr Department FATA and any other government document that the coordinator will come across.
Ready to travel to remote areas of FATA for extended periods as well as travel domestically or internationally upon short notice
Required Skills
Education
Bachelors, preferably with experience of working for CSOs in the relevant fields.

Experience
2 to 3 years experience of progressively responsible Programme is required at the national or international level, preferably with experience in monitoring activities. Understanding of CEDAW, and other & national & international commitments of the government of Pakistan is required. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) and advance knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web based management systems.
