Terms of Reference
Provincial Campaign Officer
Under the technical supervision of the WHO Medical Officer in the province (the provincial team leader), under the overall supervision of the WHO Representative , the Provincial Campaign officer will undertake the following duties:
To assist the polio eradication activities, in planning and implementation of supplementary immunization activities (SIAs)
To strengthen SIAs through improved micro-planning and supervision, increased government ownership and expanded partner participation.
To support provincial/district health staff in preparation of campaign activities, implementation and supervision through regular field visits
To develop and update detailed plans of campaign activities in each province in line with the programme objective and targets.
To coordinate provincial report and review all reports submitted by provinces and analyze the data related to SIAs to provide feedback to various health authorities
To ensure the development and training on the use of data collecting tool from districts as well as from the Union Councils
To support/assist in organizing and conducting appropriate training for the SIAs at province and district levels.
To analyze and provide feedback to the provinces on the data submitted by the Campaign Support Officers
To ensure timely feedback to data flow and share SIA data with the Federal Campaign Technical Officer
To assist in the planning of a comprehensive social mobilization/communication/ advocacy plan for SIAs.
To prepare regular programme reports and follow up documentation of special activities for SIAs.
Required Skills
No-Objection certificate from parent department for candidates in government service
Candidates will have to reside at the place of duty station incase he/she is selected
Excellent written communication skills in English, Urdu and local languages
Knowledge of computers including Microsoft Offices applications
