Degree Title:
Completion of secondary education. Higher Education in Commerce, accounting or finance preferred.
Minimum Experience:
4 Years(Four years job experience in accounting/finance.)
Assists in review of DCT and payments and issuance of payments and deposits. Maintains financial records and handles the archiving and destruction of financial records as per UNICEF financial rules and guidance. Assists in the preparation of payment batches through web-banking and in obtaining authorization from bank signatories. Prepares route correspondences as well as attends any other important work as per the instruction of the Finance Assistant. Also serves as back up for Finance Assistant GS-6 in his/her absence. Follow-up with the Bank on transactions and handles queries from the staff, vendors, suppliers and IPs in relation to the status of their payments. Enters incoming cheques/cash in the control register and prepares bank deposit slips for cheques and cash deposited into the bank.

Fluency in written and spoken English required. Knowledge of the local language of the duty station an asset.
